Sam Foti has worked as an underwriter and as the director of several financial products and services provider firms and companies like The MONY Group Inc., MONY Life Insurance Company of America, MONY Bank & Trust Company of the Americas, Ltd., Life Insurance Marketing and Research Association (LIMRA), The Enterprise Group of Funds, and The American College. This accounts for his professional excellence after receiving his master’s degree in finance and investments, from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

Samuel J. Foti was hired as the National Director of Agency Operations in 1988 and due to his tremendous contributions was promoted to become President and Chief Operating Officer of The MONY Group Inc. in 1994. From then on, he dedicated his capabilities to steer MONY towards success. He implemented several strategic plans to reposition the firm and expand its operations. He sold several subsidiaries of MONY to help regain its focus and also expanded the company’s product portfolio and distribution channel.  Samuel Foti expanded the company’s career agency system to include avenues such as the Internet and provided training and resources to improve the work force. Currently The MONY Group, Inc has merged with AXA Financial Inc and offers life insurance, asset accumulation, and retail brokerage products and services to individuals, corporations, and institutions.
